ABOUT

About Me

WELCOME TO THE PHARM, I'M DONNIE.

I primarily identify as a follower of Jesus Christ. Additionally, I am fiercely devoted to my wife, Jenny, and our two sons, Asher and Emmett. Every career decision of mine has been made with the goal of creating more quality time with my family. Currently, you can find us seeking adventure by traveling the United States in our RV.

I received my PharmD from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2003. Early in my career I worked for a large chain in many different capacities including Staff Pharmacist, Pharmacy Manager and District Supervisor. After leaving the chain I went to work for a large non-profit community mental health center where I eventually took on the role of Director of Medical and Pharmacy Operations. My passion for patients, business acumen and thirst for professional growth lead me to leave the community mental health center and open an independent pharmacy. Throughout my pharmacy career, I have enjoyed the opportunity to develop others and watch them flourish in their careers.

I strongly believe pharmacists need to position themselves appropriately to lead the way. I have been trained in professional coaching and it is my philosophy that leadership is a universal language. My vision is to help pharmacists grow into the leaders they were meant to be and achieve success beyond what they imagined. I believe strengthening the individual will in turn strengthen the pharmacy profession.

My Coaching Style and Philosophy

Pharmacists often take the brunt of everybody’s frustration… patients, coworkers, managers, doctors, nurses (this list could go on forever). This coupled with lower reimbursements and being overworked and understaffed leaves many pharmacists looking for more. That is exactly why I am here. I want to see you have success in the areas that matter most to you. When you allow me to come alongside of you and your journey, you can expect:
  • Personal Goal Setting
  • Understanding of How Your DISC Personality Style Influences Your Decisions and Those Around You
  • Identification of Your Strengths and How to Maximize Them
  • Practical Next Steps to Achieve Your Goal
I believe one of the most important things I can do for you is to hold you accountable to the action items you have laid out and keep driving and pushing you forward.

Donnie
